Katie's Surprise

Katie got me an AWESOME surprise on Friday. She bought tickets to the Star's first playoff home game. It was so cool. Literally it was freezing!!! Em was RIGHT!! But the experience even though we lost was AWESOME! American Airline Center with the new Victory Park is just something to behold. Celina Reyes also performed before the game, she was ok. but we got towels to swing around and stars that blinked a green light. When the arena went dark it was like something out of Harry Potter. Even though we lost in OVERTIME (the best event in any sport, OVERTIME HOCKEY!!!) it was still an amazing night. My wife is so great and I think she now enjoys HOCKEY! We will be tuned into game 4 GO STARS!!!!

THE CHAMP IS HERE!!

Ok, so a while back Katie and I had started this Tetris challenge. Well actually it was more about me trying to see if I could become a better Tetris player than Katie. Years have proved that she was much better than me. So I saw that on our DS Tetris she had scored 350,000 points and had actually beat Tetris. So I deceided to beat her. On my first couple of attempts I was able to beat the game but I couldn't beat her score. So I decided to turn on ENDLESS Tetris and see if I could do it that way. I DID! First time out. 750,500 points, I was declared the new CHAmP! I mean for me it was a great victory. So I took advantage of the days that I had as Champ because I knew well Katie would soon beat it. and.... boy did she ever she got 1,105,000 points. I was defeated. A MILLION POINTS!!! NO WAY!!!! I gave up trying to beat it. I tried like 30 times and no results. Until 3 days ago when this happened!!!!

5 months, what?

Ok, so we are already half way through! Ummm, one question where did the last 5 months go. I noticed I hadn't posted since December, and now its APRIL!!! I could be wrong but maybe I am just trying to let these days slip by so that August will get here sooner. I am still in shock that I am going to be a dad, but even more so that I will have a son. My thought's are on him constantly. I think about him probably every minute of every day. I know that most people in my family wanted a girl, but I really wanted a son. I see how much fun Marcus, Issaac, and Weaver are and I just thought man wouldn't that be great and it's going to be! I feel like God has really gave Katie and I something so amazing and so wonderful that there are times in prayer I find it hard to express my thanks. I mean it's nowhere close to giving us his son, but it is the most powerful gift I have recieved other than that and Katie bar none. I am just so pumped about this whole experience good or bad, happy or sad. I am ready to be a father, what ever kind of father that may be. I told God when I prayed for a child that if he would give us that gift than I would devote my child's life to him. I plan to do that. What's cool is that I know God will help him make a better Christian out of me. I bet he teaches me more about God than I could ever teach him. Anyways, I am just so excited and ready for this major transition. God is AWESOME!!!!!!!

We'll we had the big sonogram! Baby is healthy and we know what we are having. But I can't reveal that till tomorrow, we have other peoples to tell first. But I will show you this great picture of our baby, who is already preped for picture taking and being on camera. Check out how our baby actually smiled for our sonogram, which we were told was very rare to capture. WOOHOO!!! Enjoy!

Star Gazing

Over the past months, Katie and I have been able to watch and meet some awesome entertainers. We saw Yakov in Branson, AWESOME very funny! Diana Degarmo in Brooklyn, She should have won American Idol! Finally last night we saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Norbert Leo Butz, the 2005 Tony Award Winner for best Actor, Norbert Leo Butz reprise the role for which he won. He was with out a doubt the best performer I have EVER seen live. I MEAN THE BEST! He was on last night. The great thing about these shows were that we actually got to meet and get autographs from these AMAZING entertainers! It has been a blast!

Lindsey Blogger Flash Back - Christmas is finally over!

Today was the first day that I looked in the corner of my living room, only to find dust, cables, and a ripped out socket. My Christmas tree hid that mess so well. I became the tacky Christmas tree owner, I did not take it down till last night. It almost became a part of my living room furniture. Oh how I love Christmas Tree. It will be another 11 months until I'm able to bring him out of his box and decorate him with such pretty ornaments and ribbons. As I'm mourning over the departure of my friend I could only think of fond Christmas memories. Every year my friend Katie and I, drive around together to look at the Christmas lights. We like to take pictures with the tackiest Christmas lights we can find. The picture above, won our award for the Ugliest Christmas Lights of 2004. If anyone is in the Fort Worth area at Christmas time next year, you have to visit this place in person. It was UNBELIEVABLE!! If you look closely, you will notice a border around the yard made with a white shelf. Well along that white shelf were those little Christmas Villages that you see in the living room of your grandmother's house with the fake snow sprinkled all over it. There had to have been fifty little Christmas Villages along the yard. Also to our right was a whole train set sitting on his yard with a glass covering. Then to our left was about 12 Christmas trees bordering the edge of the yard. I hadn't ever seen anything like it before in my life. Oh how I love Christmas. It's so long away.
I will miss Christmas Tree.

Great Day! 15 days, that is half a month! I feel no desire to stop so that is a great sign. Just keep Chuggin along!

Day 14 Rainy Day Workout

Bike - 22min, 5.3 miles, at over 85 revs. Felt really good considering the weekend break.

Weight Training:

Low Row- 4X10 at 70lbs.

Calves - 4X10 at 70lbs.

Abductor - 4X10 at 80lbs.

Squats - 4X10 at 160lbs.

Nope, not even the rain could stop me today. It felt great working out. Even though my heart said lets stay in bed. I am glad I listened to my mind. It was a great workout!
